Jazmon, forgive me if you’ve already done this, but the world needs a book from you. Even if it’s literally just a compilation of your posts from here on Substack, we need it. The deep, raw, theologically-rich words you produce in every single post reflect vulnerability only the Spirit can offer. You have clearly been given the gift of communication; that is evident. The Lord has used both you and Hakeem greatly in my life as a father of two young kids. May the Lord continue to use you both to teach the world and sow good seeds in tough, vulnerable places. I feel the Lord saying, “well done my good and faithful servants” ❤️ Thank you for doing hard things, and reminding us that doing hard things is always right choice.

Glory to God. Bless God and Bless you Baylin. You don’t know how groundbreaking this is for me. Thank you thank you. I am grateful you didn’t let it fester inside your heart because I needed to hear this. 😭 wrestling behind the scenes and laying down … and learning things that are tearing me apart. 😭😂😂😂 God gave you this for me, thank you very very much.

Bless God. You are one of the ones I have learned a lot from, watching you and how your family operate. And what happened inside your home. 😩.. it doesn’t become more real until you also step into this yourself (like I am learning to) 😭

Very very beautiful!!!

I stand by this wholeheartedly.

Yes, there is a time for solitude and at times it can be really needed, BUT all that you wrote is also so true.

As a single woman in her 30s I can say that community and friendships are a life-changer.

Thank you for sharing this 🤍💚🤗

Absolutely agree, Solitude is absolutely necessary also that is a whole other practice that I want to grow in. Jesus did it beautifully. And Thank you for reading!! This in my life is something God is showing me more in this season of my life because I have struggled with believing the lie that I’ll have more by hoarding and preserving time and resources. But ironically I’ve Gained much more doing the opposite. 💕
